Design Brief

Rubicon restaurant is regarded as one of the most stylish and innovative restaurants on the Canberra restaurant scene. Although Rubicon is well established it is still one of the national capital's best-kept secrets.

Rubicon required a complete website redesign and reconstruction. A site which was easy to update without the need for any new IT skills was high on Rubicon's list of priorities. Of key importance was an always up-to-date menu and wine list. This functionality was to be wrapped in a sophisticated and intriguing design, providing a tantalizing glimpse of the Rubicon culinary and dining experience.

Solution

The new Rubicon web presence gives visitors a glimpse of the elegant and intriguing dining and culinary experience for which Rubicon has become well known.

A custom Kudasai CMS implementation was developed with a menu and wine list management administration interface. After only a few clicks of the mouse the management interface allows Rubicon to change their menu and wine list ensuring that the website reflects their most current offerings.

A simple page editor provides Rubicon with the freedom to create, edit and remove pages just as if they were working with an everyday word processor software.
