- Assist students foster a community network within the organisation
- Assist staff in their teaching and career counseling roles through the information contained within student profiles
- Assist marketing by building a database of student information, both demographic and tailored to academic their academic context
- Allow alumni students to create profiles on the system in order to; create an alumni management system; and to further extend our community network
- To integrate within, and operate independently of, the current website
- System must be easy to manage and handle multiple levels of staff administrative access
Solution
Crawford Connections is an organisational wide, internal social networking system connecting staff, current students and alumni.
Each user has the ability to update and manage their own profile on the network maintaining contact with their peers, lecturers, advisors and alumni.
The administrative interface automates many aspects of the system maintenance, and also automates many administrative tasks with in the organisation, allowing a significant reallocation of resources.
