Client Brief:The National Institute for Rural and Regional Australia (NIRRA) is an organisation which seeks to promote Australian rural and regional research, teaching and the academic contribution to policy and debate. The institute identified that a key instrument to their success would be an online network. An online network would facilitate the bringing together of and collaboration between the vast number of researchers across Australia.

Kudasai's Solution: Kudasai developed a system which provided a research portal and network. This system allows the submission of research publications, news, event and research personnel data from hundreds of registered website users. The information is collected, managed and displayed to present the connections between research, researchers and thematic 'hot-points'. The system was intentionally designed within a framework which will support the future expansion to online research capacity mapping.
