Information management projects can take many forms, with their implementations serving small, medium and large enterprises, community groups and academics institutions. Two examples of information management projects Kudasai have developed are:

Alfresco Deployment

Kudasai is currently leading a project at the Centre for Educational Development and Academic Methods (CEDAM) to implement an organisation wide digital asset management solution using the Alfresco enterprise content management system. The system will leverage current infrastructure to introduce;

• individual staff storage space and document management
• collaborative document management within project teams
• remote digital asset access for all staff
• versioning and tracking of all digital assets

NIRRA

Kudasai recently completed developing a web-based research portal and community collaboration system for the National Institute of Rural and Regional Australia (NIRRA). This system allows the online submission of research publications, news, event and research personnel data from hundreds of registered website users. The information is collected, managed and displayed to present the connections between research, researchers and thematic 'hot-points' all with the future expansion potential of complete research capacity mapping.

Kudasai has a strong involvement in Open Source software communities ensuring that we are always up-to-date with the latest in security and implementation news. While the implementation of a custom solution will provide for even the most unique system requirements, the use and implementation of Open Source technologies allows us to produce simple, secure and cost effective solutions for our clients. In order to construct enterprise quality systems, Kudasai uses open software platforms including DrupalDrupal is a highly flexible open source content management platform., JoomlaJoomla is an open source content management system. and MoodleMoodle is a Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

When beginning an information management or custom web system project we pay particular attention to the system requirements. We listen to and analyse our clients' requirements in order to develop detailed project specifications. Doing so allows us to accurately document the scope of a project and adapt the scope of our services appropriately to compliment our clients' budget, resources and time constraints.

Each project is governed by procedures which facilitate the coordination and auditing of all phases of project development. These procedures include detailed requirements gathering, regular quality assurance reporting and regimented testing phases.
