Easy to Remember, Strong Passwords: Mnemonic Password Algorithm.

Everyday we deal with client organisations where an online system they use requires their staff to remember a personal username and password. Staff have no problems remembering their username because usernames are often personal (maybe a part of their name) or at least consistent (a staff ID number for instance). However, when it comes to passwords it's not always so straight forward. Staff often have trouble remembering "another hard to remember password". As a result staff use easy to remember yet not very secure passwords.

Document and information management

In the last 18 months we've heard more and more clients talking about document and information management. Most of the conversations have sprouted from the frustration resulting from the complete lack of a systematic, consistent document storage system. The two main complaints we've heard revolve around collaborative work, where the same set of documents need to be made available to a team of people, and knowledge transfer between staff, when everything is stored on local machines.
